It has become a regular feature for CCRYN to participate in various health melas to propagate the system of Yoga and Nature Cure specially in the disease preventive, health promotive and curative aspects of these system in the masses.
The craze of the people for these sytems can best be seen in the stalls of Yoga and Naturopathy in the melas where there used to be a heavy rush of visitors through out so much so that at times the stall falls short of even the publicity materials.
Live Yoga demonstrations, distribution of publicity materials, sale of Council’s publications, propagation of sprout, juice and other health food items and consultation of the patients are regular activities at the stalls of CCRYN.
Seeing the popularity of Council’s publicity stall, a number of organizations and institutions approach CCRYN for participation in their events and melas.

During the period from 1ST JAN to 31 March, 2004 the council had participated in the following Melas:
1.Swasthya Evam Parivar Kalyan Mela Rajkot (Gujarat) 14 to 16TH Feburary, 2004
2.North East Trade Expo-2004 Pragati Maidan New Delhi 18 to 21 March, 2004
The Pravasi Bharitiya mela was inaugurated by Hon’ble prime Minister of India Shree Atal Bihari Bajpayee at Indira Ghandi Indoor Stadium.
The parivar Kalvan Evam Swasthya Mela at Rajkot was inaugurated by Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Health & F.W. Dr. Valabhabhai Kathiria.
He visited the stall of Council and appreciated the activities of CCRYN . The response of the public at these melas had been highly encouraging.
Apart from above the Council had also organized a stall in the mammoth function held for laying of foundation stone of All India Institute of Ayurveda New Delhi on 14.2.2004 by his Excellency Shree Bhairon Singh Sekhawat Vice President of India.
The Huge gathering attended the function also took good interest in the Yoga and Nature Cure publicity material distributed at the stall of CCYRN.

C.F.C MEETING
The 13 meeting of Standing Finance Committee (SFC) of CCRYN was held under the Chairmanship of Shri Taradutt, Joint Secretary, Dept. of AYUSH on 12-2-2004 at 3.00 P.M.
The SFC cleared 2 Research Projects entitled “Efffect of an integrated approach of Yoga Theraphy for metastatic breast CANCER PATIENTS and a study of DNA repair capacity” submitted by Vivekananda Research Foundation, Bangalore having financial implication of Rs. 15.99 lakhs and research project on “Effect of Yoga & Naturopathy modalities in the management of Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis and Goat” submitted by Shri Nath Naturopathy and Yogic Center, Kanpur with the financing implication of Rs. 17.26 lakhs.Both the projects are for 3 years.
The SFC also cleared a Literary Research project on “Manushya Mein Pran Ke Aayaam” submitted by Ms. Amrita Bharti of Vivekananda Yoga Research Foundation, Bangalore with the financial implication of Rs. 3.68 lakhs for 2 year.
One important decision of SFC relates to introduction of 2 ½ years Diploma Course in Naturopathy & Yoga Theraphy (DNYT) in place of One Year Diploma Course in Yoga & Naturopathy (DYN).
Under this scheme the institution running a DNYT course will get Rs. 5 lakhs per annum from CCRYN.
The SFC also cleared 2 new proposals of Treatment-cum-Propagation Center (TCPC), 1 Training Center, 2 projects of 10 bedded patient care center and 2 projects of 5 bedded patient care center.
